A bunch of new stuff has been added to the Balloon & Needle Vimeo channel. This one is of particular interest for me, as I’ve only just heard about Hankil’s use of the typewriter. I wasn’t sure if it was merely contact mic’d or what, but it seems he is using it in a feedback system with other devices (motors? amplifiers?), which is a really exciting development for his evolving playing style.
Anyone know if you can hear this on record anywhere?
